This Wed 18th March I am very excited to be holding my first workshop specifically tailored to mid-career professionals who want to “get off the beaten path” - to move towards self employment making a living from a passion, a creative talent or a desire to help people or society in some way.
It’s easy to dismiss what we really want as an unrealistic “pipe dream.” But it is perfectly possible to reinvent your career and lifestyle if you have the belief, make a plan and are prepared to put in the work.
I have witnessed incredible changes both in clients and in friends and family members who have made or are making this transition.
My brother, over the course of 3 years, moved from being an IT project manager to a helicopter pilot, flying tourists out to the Great Barrier Reef. I myself am a former solicitor. Both of us had families to support when we made our changes.
In the workshop we will
Define what success means to you
Clarify your ideas for working off the beaten path (if you have no firm ideas don’t worry – this can be the start!)
Identify what’s holding you back and create strategies for moving forward
Commit to some small first steps you can take towards work you would really love.
